TripAdvisor's 2012 Travelers' Choice Awards For Best Hotels Revealed
It's that time of year again.
TripAdvisor has released their 10th annual "Travelers' Choice Awards", which honors properties around the world in 30 countries and 8 regions.
This year's list examined 3,943 properties in the following categories: best luxury and bargain; best service; best B&Bs and inns; best all-inclusive; best spa; and trendiest.
In a release about the awards, TripAdvisor states that the average nightly rate for hotels on the list was $270 (45% have an average nightly rate of $200 or less per night). That number goes up significantly in the luxury category, however; that average rate per night is $455. On the flip side, the bargain deals hover around $106 per night.
